Great for anyone involved in prehospital transport from PTS to frontline. This course teaches safe lifting techniques that are proven to reduce injury as well as hands-on learning with manual handling aids in prehospital scenarios.
Non-Emergency Patient Transport Skills
Our NEPTS course prepares learners with the practical skills and knowledge required for non-emergency patient transport roles. Suitable for anyone with a level 3 first aid qualification or above.
Basic Life Support and the Safe use of an AED (including Anaphylaxis)
Our BLS course is designed to refresh your team’s knowledge and skills in an emergency. Meeting all current legislation and guidelines, you can expect a practical session aimed at ensuring your team is confident and competent to act when needed.

Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) Course
Our NEPTS course prepares learners to operate safely and professionally within non-emergency ambulance service roles. Designed for those entering the patient transport sector, for newly qualified FREC 3 individuals looking for additional work, or those making a career move within pre-hospital care and looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in patient transport.
This 1-day course covers patient handling, infection prevention, clear, effective communication, accurate documentation and operational procedures. CPD-accredited and delivered by experienced ambulance personnel, this programme provides a structured foundation for individuals pursuing a career focused on safe, compassionate transport care.
Upon completion, this course will award the learner with 8 CPD hours. There is no requirement to requalify with this course; however, it is recommended that learners undertake annual skill assessments to ensure they remain competent.

Immediate Life Support for Deteriorating Patients
Our out of Hospital Adult Immediate Life Support course equips healthcare professionals and first responders with the skills required to manage deteriorating patients and cardiac arrest scenarios.
This 1-day programme is aligned with national resuscitation guidelines. It includes airway management techniques, safe defibrillation practice and coordinated and team-based resuscitation drills to strengthen clinical performance in time-critical situations.
Upon completion, this course will award the learner with 8 CPD hours and is valid for 1 year.
Prehospital Advanced Life Support Skills
This 1-day course is designed for Paramedics and experienced prehospital clinicians seeking to refine and refresh their Advanced Life Support skills.
Practical skill-focused training with contextualised scenarios. This CPD-accredited programme covers advanced airway management, cardiac arrest algorithms, relevant pharmacology and effective team leadership during high-acuity incidents. The course bridges the gap between in-hospital ALS protocols and the operational realities of out-of-hospital emergency care.
Upon completion, this course will award the learner with 8 CPD hours and is valid for 1 year.
Manual Handling and Moving People
This one-day course takes learners through the basics of movement and protecting the spine, appropriate techniques to carry loads, and safe practices to move people in a healthcare setting. Aligned with the core skills framework, this course incorporates the use of common ambulance manual handling aids, including the use of a carry chair, Stair Climber, sliding sheets, and transfer board (banana board), amongst others.

This course is delivered face-to-face at our centre in Radlett by experienced ambulance clinicians.
​
Learners will undertake practical assessments in lifting and moving a weighted manikin, wheelchair clamping, and assisting a patient on and off an ambulance safely.
​
Learners need to be aged 17 or older on the first day of the course and should have a basic understanding of ambulance service procedures.
