Mini Medics courses for children
From 2020 it will be a mandatory requirement for primary schools to add first aid training courses for children into their curriculum. We are really pleased to offer the Mini Medics Programme. The aim of the course is to help even the young children to understand the importance of helping someone who is in need of medical attention. This programme is specifically developed for children and can be adapted to suit a range of ages. Our syllabus includes:
- Choking
- First aid kits
- Recovery positions
- DR ABC (Primary Survey)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
- Safety
- Communication and contacting the emergency services
Certification
A certificate of attendance is included along with Mini Medic books as a ‘cut-out’ for the child. This is also available in PDF format. This course is a non-regulated qualification and doesn't require a formal registration - all that is required is your child's attendance.

Our Mini and Junior Medics courses are perfect for school children. We can come to your school or to after school clubs, to hold a first aid training course for students. We can also hold a first aid training programme over the weekend or during vacations in local communities, where children of all ages and abilities are welcome.
